Mt Claremont

 

A simple ordinary post war home from the street front has been given a complete overhaul to create a modern family home, whilst preserving its links with the past.  Rear additions were added to create functional indoor – outdoor living spaces.  The new rear living additions have been orientated to take advantage of the northern aspect of the site, flooding natural light within, which was lacking in the original residence layout.  The refurbishment offers a new way of living on the site.  The design allows for future staged additions and a pool to be added to the rear of the site.
